B.S. of Industrial Design
Portfolio
I am Jacob Rochon. Earning a degree in industrial design and completing free-lance projects has brought me where I am today. I built a reputation as an out-of-the-box thinker, using creative tools as a showcase. My goal as a designer is to improve the way we do things.
Sunrise Protein bars: Convenient breakfast
Design challenge was to create a convenient breakfast for on the go users needing specific requirements for their day. I accomplished this in the packaging design, color attributions and overall branding.
Sea Vault: Scuba diving knife
A scuba diving knife made for ease and convenience for the avid user. Considerations for this design were style, usability, features and quality in the tool.
Outpack: Dry proof bag to pack out trash
OutPack is a designated section in a backpackers bag made to easily pack up trash. Design goal is to encourage hikers to clean up after themselves while providing a reliable solution to the problem. Those benefiting from this would be National Parks, Conservation Society, and the environment. Outpack is reusable and produced with ecofriendly materials.
