Portfolio

I’m a visual artist and graphic designer studying Visual Communication Design at San Francisco State University. I primarily work at the intersection of music and design, bringing musicians’ visions to life through visual identity and direction. I specialize in cover art, poster, and merchandise design. My primary aesthetic inspiration comes from a passion for early to mid-2000s graphic design. However, I like to challenge myself by exploring new styles and disciplines. I’ve been contracted by high-profile EDM artists for numerous projects, including designing official tour merchandise for Lido’s international “Everything” tour, creating concert visuals for Grammy-nominated artist Mat Zo, and designing the cover art for Shadient’s breakout EP “winter=reality”.

Lindt Chocolate Packaging Re-design

Lindt Chocolate is a Swiss chocolatier established in 1845. The brand heavily emphasizes tradition and elegance, which I wanted to channel with a more modern feel. The package’s design system references a certain style of “brutalist” graphic design, which generally relies on a grid system, hard edges, and solid colors. These techniques also tie into traditional Swiss design concepts. Overall, I wanted to maintain the high-end and traditional feel of Lindt’s existing branding, but breathe new life into the packaging by incorporating a more modern and unique design system.

SPRAWL Logo Design & Branding

SPRAWL is a hardcore retro cyberpunk FPS that calls back to late-90s/early-2000s video games. Since SPRAWL is heavily inspired by games such as DOOM (1993) and Half-Life (1998), the direction reflects the same feeling and aesthetics that these older video games had. The result is a brand that feels very industrial and grungy, especially in the burnt orange accents and rusted textures.

Amplify

In recent years, streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music have become the most popular way to listen to music. However, this poses an issue—most streaming services hardly compensate their artists fairly, in addition to prioritizing algorithms and plays over creative freedom. Amplify is a music streaming platform that aims to compensate musicians fairly and prioritizes the need for greater artistic freedom throughout the streaming service industry.
